Cross and Constitution

Blending Faith and Freedom for a Just and Compassionate America

The Cross and the Constitution brings together life-changing principles of Jesus Christ and foundational ideals of the United States Constitution. It asserts that personal transformation through Christ, and civic responsibility under constitutional law, are not opposing forces—but complementary powers that can strengthen both the individual soul and the national soul.

Rooted in biblical love and constitutional liberty,
The Cross and the Constitution informs, inspires, and activates servant leaders for community transformation and national renewal.

Biblical Foundation:

Jesus identified the greatest commandments in Matthew 22:36-40:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… and love your neighbor as yourself.”

This affirms that Christianity is based on love, justice, humility, and service to others.

In Mark 12:17, Jesus teaches civic responsibility:

“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

This shows the legitimacy of government and the importance of participating in it without compromising spiritual integrity.

Constitutional Foundation:

The U.S. Constitution—especially the 14th Amendment, Section 1—guarantees equal protection under the law and due process for every individual:

“No State shall… deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
This reflects the constitutional commitment to human dignity, fairness, and civil liberty for all citizens.
